Start With Mass Flow Rate. Not Pipe Size
Many engineers size a Coriolis meter the same way they size a magnetic flow meter. That is a mistake. Coriolis meters measure mass directly. The tube sizer depends on mass flow, density, and pressure drop. A DN15 pipe does not always mean a DN15 Coriolis sensor. A small tube can handle a high mass flow if the fluid is dense. A large tube can be wrong for low flow gas or light solvent.
In practice, we ask for flow range first. A chemical dosing line in Malaysia may run from 30 kg/h to 400 kg/h. A fuel oil transfer line in Mexico may run from 8000 kg/h to 60000 kg/h. Matching Process Mediums to Tube Sizers

Say you measure palm oil at 40°C. Density is about 900 kg/m3. Viscosity can be 30 cP to 70 cP. If the flow rate is 3000 kg/h, a DN15 tube may work but pressure drop could be high. A DN25 tube may be better. The larger tube reduces pressure drop and lowers shear. This matters for shear sensitive fluids.
Density Changes the Calculation
Mass flow rate is the main input. But density changes the pressure drop across the tube. A gas at 10 bar has much lower density than water. At the same mass flow, gas velocity is higher.
